Descripton
It can be recognized by its body shape and color. This species is usually silvery. The upper side is sometimes blue, brown, or yellowish.
Behavior
The Barred Flagtail is found mostly around coral and reefs, and also enters estuaries and freshwater river basins.
Reproduction
They are known to be oviparous, laying eggs with potentially multiple clutches per season. They are believed to be migratory to specific spawning locations, with larvae being pelagic.
