Description
These sharks have a cylindrical body, five prominent longitudinal ridges, and an exceptionally long, whip-like caudal fin that constitutes nearly half their total length. Adults are pale tan with dark spots

They are generally solitary, spending days resting on the seafloor, often using pectoral fins to "prop" themselves up and nights hunting for mollusks and crustaceans. They possess highly flexible bodies for navigating tight reef crevices

Communication & Perception
Zebra sharks are oviparous, depositing large, dark brown egg capsules anchored to the seafloor via adhesive tendrils. They reproduce sexually but are known for an amazing ability to produce young through parthenogenesis where they could lay eggs without mating and can store sperm for over a year.
