Behavior
This species of moray is a solitary, nocturnal predator known for its unique, highly amphibious behavior, hunting crabs and foraging on dry land during low tide.
Reproduction
Peppered moray eels reproduce via external fertilization, where males and females release eggs and sperm into the water column, often in shallow coastal waters.
Communication & Perception
