Brightly patterned marine eel known for its white, brown, and yellow "snowflake" markings. It is a docile reef-dweller with blunt teeth specialized for feeding on crustaceans. They use a unique, secondary "pharyngeal" jaw to grasp and pull in prey

Perilaku

They are known for being relatively peaceful and outgoing, though they are nocturnal, solitary carnivores. They spend days hiding in rock crevices with only their head visible, using their keen smell to hunt crabs and crustaceans at night

Reproduksi

Snowflake morays are oviparous, protogynous hermaphrodites that reproduce via external fertilization, releasing eggs and sperm into the water column.
