Behavior

Often found inhabiting rocky and rubble-slope reefs. They thrive at depths of 2–30 meters, often seen singly or in pairs browsing on sponges and tunicates

Reproduction

Similar to other angelfish, they are pelagic spawners, releasing eggs into the water column, which are then fertilized by the male
