Description

Behavior
They are shy, nocturnal, and carnivorous marine fish found in the Eastern Pacific at depths ranging from less than 5 to over 100 meters.
Reproduction
It reproduces via pelagic spawning, releasing tiny, round eggs that float freely in the open ocean. These fish are oviparous and provide no parental care to their young.
